I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to thank our entire community for your love in making Staff Appreciation so special for our Tiffany Team. We are so lucky to be with your students every single day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Hannover Survey – Opening May 9th
The Chula Vista Elementary School District prioritizes our school communities’ opinions, perceptions, and needs. The District is partnering with Hanover Research to conduct a short survey to help us understand how the current school year has been and the priorities and needs for the 2023-24 school year. The confidential survey link will be sent out on Tuesday, May 9, and will stay open until May 23, 2023. Please be on the lookout for the link next week and take the time to participate in the short survey. Your input matters!
Testing Continues Through May
Many of our Tiffany students are in the process of both state and local assessments. The calendar is above for your reference. Here are some tips to prepare:
If you are interested in the types of questions that your child will be asked on state testing, you can CLICK HERE to visit the CAASPP website for released questions. Please note that cell phones and smart watches are not permitted to be powered on in the classroom where the CAASPP is being administered. This is for staff and students. As such, electronic devices, such as cell phones and smart watches, will be stored away and powered off.
Lost and Found Cart is Overflowing Again 🙂
Our lost and found cart is overflowing with jackets, water bottles, lunches boxes, sweatshirts and more. If you child is missing an article of clothing, it is likely there. Please stop by the front of our school to see if any of these items belong to your household!

Students Returning to Tiffany in July – Verification of Residency Coming Soon
Parents/Guardians of all currently enrolled Preschool through 5th grade students will be sent an email on May 22nd with an online link to submit Proof of Address online. Verification of Residency/Proof of address must be completed every year, for every student, before the start of the new school year.
Current 6th graders moving to middle school do not need to verify residency with CVESD. There is a separate verification process with their middle school.
New students in TK-6th for the 2023/2024 School Year submit Proof of Address at time of online registration, so no need to complete it again at this time. You will be asked to submit Residency documentation next year.
Families Moving Out of Tiffany or Out of the District
Preschool – 5th grade parents, please notify the office by email if your child will not be continuing at Tiffany in July.
- Email: Nicola.Coghill@cvesd.org with your child’s name, grade and where you are moving
- Before school finishes on June 2nd, return any library /classroom books
- Collect any medication from the health office if applicable
- When you register with a new school, they will contact us and we will send them the records if it’s within the US
6th Grade Parents – Middle School Information
Are You Moving But Still Want To Attend Tiffany?
If you are moving within the Chula Vista District (Zone Transfer) or to a neighboring School District (Interdistrict transfer) and want your child to continue attending Tiffany, please contact the school office for options available. You will need to provide proof of your new address and complete additional paperwork. Continuation will be based on classroom space, child’s behavior and the ability to be able to both arrive and depart school on time. Students attending on a transfer are not eligible to ride the school bus.
Library Closing Soon For Year End Inventory
- The last week of library check out for students will be the week of May 8th.
- All books need to be returned and fines paid no later than Thursday, May 18th.
- Library will be closed officially on Friday, May 19th.
