Weekly Message for the Week of May 29th

Dear Tiffany Families,

I hope this message finds you well on this Memorial Day weekend.  Our school will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day.  Students will return on Tuesday, May 30th, which will be a regular dismissal.  We only have 4 days of school left – it absolutely does not seem possible!!  Here is the information for the final week:

Congratulations to Mrs. Botterman, Mrs. Cabotage and Mrs. Elkerton on Retirement!

Three of our Tiffany Teachers will be retiring at the end of this school year – Mrs. Botterman, Mrs. Cabotage and Mrs. Elkerton!  Thank you for your dedication and love for students over the course of your career and we wish you the very best!  No alarm clocks needed soon and you can come back whenever you want.  Congratulations!

End of Year Events

If families plan to take students/siblings to graduation or promotion events this coming week, to excuse the absence or early dismissal, parents are required to give advance notice, in writing, to the office staff by email: deborah.chapman@cvesd.org
Our Sixth Grade Promotion will be held at Eastlake Church at 1pm on Wednesday, May 31st.  Families do not need to notify us of the Sixth Grade student, however, if you are having sibling(s) attend, you will need to notify our office in advance.  There will be an organized process to check out our Sixth Graders the day of promotion.  Please read the email from your Sixth Grade Teacher for more detailed information regarding Sixth Grade Promotion.

Looking Ahead to Next Year

Our first day of school for the 2023/24 School Year is Wednesday, July 19th.  Click HERE for a link to the calendar for CVESD.

New Residency Process – Information for All Returning Students

An email for returning students went out on Monday May 22nd, to families of TK through 5th grade students.  Parents will need to review emergency contacts, health information, sign internet use and parent notification agreements, etc. for each child returning to Tiffany.  This will all be done digitally through the link that is sent to your email.
New this year….No Verification of Residency forms or utility bills are required to be uploaded this year, unless the student/family is moving or has moved.  If you have moved, you will need to provide your new address as well as the supporting documents to show your change in residence.
This process needs to be completed as soon as possible.  Families who do not complete this may risk not being able to continue at Tiffany for next year.  If you have any questions, please contact our Tiffany Office.

Medications in the Health Room

If your child has medication stored in the health room, please collect it by 4pm on Friday, June 2nd.

Lost and Found – Items Left Will Be Donated 🙂

Our lost and found cart has been upgraded thanks to a generous donation of time and the racks from Ms. Peters, Mrs. Salgado and Mrs. Farrer.  The items are now organized by color and it is much easier to see if something belongs to you!  Several items have already found their owner, but there are still items left.  Please stop by the front of our school to see if any of these items belong to your household!  All items not claimed will be donated on the last day of school.

Well Wishes for Our Sixth Graders

I wanted to take a moment to wish the very best to our Sixth Graders who are moving on from us here at Tiffany.  Though the chapter here has closed, the next chapter will be just as amazing!  Remember that once a Tiffany Tiger, always a Tiffany Tiger.  Stay in contact, come back to visit and know that “You’ve Got This!”

Thank you to all of our Tiffany Families and Students for an incredible school year together.  Here’s to the final week – we’ve got this!

Take Care,

Dr. Sutton
